We help the (wild) animals

Unsere Arbeit für Tiere
Northern Tanzania could be a paradise for animals. Unfortunately, poaching and ignorance often contribute to animals suffering here too. Kilimanjaro Animal CREW has therefore set up a center for the rescue and care of animals under the leadership of veterinarians Elisabeth and Laszlo. Elephant orphans are expertly cared for here, as are monkeys, big cats, antelopes and a variety of birds and reptiles.

The animals are freed from snares, and concerned rangers or residents call the team day and night if an animal is in distress. And all too often, they are picked up on the street or customs bring confiscated animals that are about to die of thirst. But dogs, cats and horses also receive medical care and stay on the farm until they feel better and are released into the wild. Kilimanjaro Animal Crew also trains police officers in the region in the handling and care of police horses and dogs.

We ask all animal lovers for a donation for our work in Tanzania!
