The north of Tanzania, between Serengeti, Kilimanjaro and Lake Victoria, is a natural paradise.

Many elephants, giraffes, big cats and large herds of wildebeest and antelope still live here.

Above all, the proximity to people poses many dangers – both for the animals and the sensitive biotopes.

Kilimanjaro Animal CREW has therefore set itself the goal of working with schools and authorities to improve environmental protection in the region. In addition to environmental education for children, this also includes further training for teachers, civil servants and police officers. Joint tree planting and garbage collection campaigns also demonstrate in practice the value of intact nature for everyone. As part of research projects, we support studies from all over the world in collecting data and with our knowledge about the ecological connections in the Kilimanjaro region.
